Attention Members: Renew your annual dues

Just a reminder to pay your annual dues anytime before the close of the spring meeting.

Annual dues have been increased to $50 per household or $25 for persons 60 years or older, payable on January 1st of each year.

Dues/Checks should be made out to NLPIA and mailed to NLPIA, PO Box 724, Nassau NY 12123.

Failure to remit dues by the May 5, 2021 shall cause a member to considered in arrears.  Membership rights shall be terminated if dues are not received by the closure of the Annual Spring meeting.

Members who join or renew their membership after the Spring meeting may not hold office or vote at elections until the following year.

NYS announced $15 million in funding is available through the State Septic System Replacement Program to support homeowners. The grants are the second round from a total of $75 million provided under the Water Infrastructure Improvement Act to improve water quality and protect public health through the targeted replacement of aging and sub-standard septic systems and removal of cesspools in communities statewide.
The program is a collaboration between the Department of Environmental Conservation, Department of Health, Environmental Facilities Corporation, and participating counties to administer funding to qualifying homeowners.
